*Blanche Maverick

Since our first visit to Springbourne and Blanche Stud three years ago, we have been dreaming of the day when we could import our own stallion to Canada.  That day has come and Blanche Maverick has arrived!  He is absolutely adorable and we are looking very forward to his success with Stonecountry!

*Yaverland Carousel (Maverick's sire) had notable success in Holland and during his first year back in the United Kingdom he was Champion at the City of Swansea Show.

Carousel is also Sire of Yaverland Trinket a Royal Welsh Champion.  Carousel had an outstanding crop of foals in 2006. These included the palomino colt Blanche Mystique who topped the colt foals at the Fayre Oaks Sale and is now at his new home in Queensland, Australia.

*Blanche Mime (Maverick's dam) has also had her turn in the limelight winning on six occasions as a yearling, which included the Royal Show and the South of England. As a two-year-old Mime won at Monmouth and was Champion at the Southern Counties Welsh Pony and Cob Association.  She has produced three fillies and a colt to date. The filly Molly by Haverford Floyd was one of the high priced fillies at the 1999 Fayre Oaks Sale. The colt Mystral by Owston Harvest has been exported to Holland.

Lianna's Saqqarah

S.Q. is bred for temperament and performance.  He has been Supreme Welsh, Grand Champion Section A and Champion Section A Stallion at shows in 2006/2007.  S.Q  produces foals with great substance, correct movement and conformation along with a wonderful, trainable temperament.  We are excited to have this wonderful stallion join our ranks here at Stonecountry!

*Cadlanvalley Orlando

We are very excited to announce that Cadlanvalley Orlando has arrived at Stonecountry from Wales, U.K.!!!  He had a tremendous 2007 show year!!  He ended the year with a big win at the Royal Welsh, winning his big class of 43 entries under judge Edwin Prosser!!  Thank you very much Yvonne and Howell Davies for allowing us to own this magnificent colt.  We look very forward to his future with us here in Canada!

*Millcroft Cappuccino (Orlando's dam) is a big winner as well.  She was 2nd Royal Welsh, 2nd Royal Show, 1st & Champion at Northern All Welsh Medal Show, 1st & Champion at East Midlands, Association Young Stock Medal Show, 1st & Champion at West Yorks Young Stock Medal Show, 1st & Champion at Ashby de la Zouch. 2nd Royal Welsh Junior Mare 2006.

*Boston Bonaparte (Orlando's sire) was the Winner of  W.P.C.S. Sec. B Sire Ratings in 2006 and 2nd in the W.P.C.S. Sec B. sire rating points in 2005.  He is a tremendous mover and has a very kind temperament, which he passes on to his stock.  All his foals have inherited his lovely big front, small head and his movement. Only shown lightly, he was a Champion and Royal International Qualifier.  Bonaparte sired the Supreme Champion Millcroft Gelding Winner 2006!

*Menai Carlo

This is a truely outstanding stallion with breeding, conformation, movement and presence to burn!  Carlo is a grandson of the illustrious Multi - Royal Welsh ridden champion *Menai Furious!  Carlo has lovely bloodlines that include Synod and Menai , two of the top lines in the world today for Section C's.  Carlo made his first North American show ring appearance at the 2004 Western Nationals.  He was brilliant!!  Carlo won Supreme and Reserve Supreme Champion ribbons!!  He was the 2004 NW Region Champion Section C Stallion and stood 4th Nationally (high score) for Section C stallions.

Lonetree's Romeo

Romeo comes from a line of athletic performance cobs. Rome’s sire, Kentchurch Chime is a well-known imported Cob who has proven himself with two WPCSA Legion of Merit awards as well as numerous dressage championships. Romeo’s dam Abbey’s Holiday exhibits exquisite movement and conformation, she is sired by Okeden Sensation and her grand sire is the wonderful Turkdean Sword Dance. Romeo’s pedigree and ability to produce exceptional offspring will entice the avid Welsh and Sport Pony breeder.

*Menai Country Boy

Menai Country Boy has arrived here at Stonecountry Farm. He is BIG, BOLD and absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! This dark bay five year old Section D Welsh Cob stallion is full of welsh type, bone, substance and depth, a gorgeous head and a very powerful shoulder and hip with breathtaking movement. He makes you stop and stare. He is sired by the Royal Welsh Winner Menai Sparkling Image and out of the beautiful mare Menai Countess. We had a very exciting foaling season this year with 2 beautiful cob colts!  2008 will be just as exciting!  Come have a stare!!!

Boy are we excited about this guy!!!  He has an amazing temperament, tones of bone and oozes with presence.  You need to see this big boy move!!  He is an absolutely amazing addition to our stallion roster! 

We fell in love with *Geler Dago on our first trip to Wales, he is absolutely stunning!!  He is a prolific winner on the line and he produces top in hand, performance and breeding stock.  Shanco’s dam, *Geler Heti is sired by the famous stallion *Derwen Desert Express, he is a top sire of our time and consistent winner of progeny awards!
